1. Thats the key part........not councils.

2. And the other term COUNCIL HOUSES.......for housing pre 1980s. It was a lot easier to sell houses as councils compared to social landlords. Which is why the current regulations are changing to ALLOW social landlords to sell their stock in Right to Buy schemes

3. To be classed as Social Housing, you would need to be Registerd with The Social Housing Regulator. Which imparts a whle different rake of policy and procedure in the running, maintaining and purchase of housing.....also the rent was lower for social housing then for council housing, which is why some councils did stock transfers to become social landlords themselves or to Create a new Social Landlord.

I'm not sure of your point ? NHS dentistry should be free,it's effectively been privatised.Even if your lucky enough to find one who'll take you on it's still going to cost you.You have seen the reports of people having to pull and fill their own teeth I'm guessing ?
But back to the point of privatising the energy company's it's been a disaster.So what your reasoning to not nationalising them ?
Once in public ownership whats to stop us setting the price. We can tax the most wealthy to cover the cost ? They should be run for the good of the people not for private profits.

you never asked were it went wrong.....you asked how much the re-invested. So i told you.....now you want to change the goal posts to match your rhetoric.....

Why not quote the full context of what black was saying and not just snippets to suit you
