Good work there by Mr Selvig - just so my view is clear. (prank is a good word for it. As is sarcasm. I don't really like the author's use of "troll" in this context, but it's a word that's been bent into all sorts of odd usages, so ... pfft ... )

It's amazing how much arguments they come up with, while the real evidence is right under their nose, off course weapon laws work, if a total ban is impossible to implement only very strict rules permits etc would already help a lot, as 90% of these school shooters would fall in a high risk category and therefore will have been refused an weapon if rules where in place and applied.

On a blog I hardly ever look at I recently found a good summary of the arguments about gun control from a European perspective, including but not limited to a religious one. Regarding the latter I don't agree with all Wilson had to say, but then these things are the subject of legitimate debate:
