Cllimate warming seeming so random on its impact I am wondering, are prolonged easterlies common?
The north east is okish, having the ginormous Kielder.
But again, that relies on westerlies almost always, dominating.
The most common wind directions in Britain are South-Westerly and North-Easterly, so yeah, I'd say they were a pretty regular occurrence.
