Whatever.
If pre-pubertal, binary, moral absolutes do it for you who I am to judge?

I give him credit for resigning, albeit belatedly, but there was a time not so long ago when anything other than quitting immediately would have been considered absolutely untenable. Once we are at the point where people don't instantly quit as an MP when they are found guilty of a criminal offence or caught watching porn at work then it becomes near impossible to expect the public to have any confidence in their parliamentarians, or any respect for them.

Well exactly..

It becomes an all round grinding down of standards

If the people making the rules (eg covid regs) can't be trusted to stick with them, and don't seem to care even when they're exposed, flouting them, then why would anyone give a toss about sticking to them, or any other 'rules' they make

If people who are supposed to be carefully, thoughtfully, and decently making legislation with regard to say women's rights, and freedoms, cannot be trusted to behave with even a modicum of decency towards women in the house itself, why would we have any faith in them, doing the right thing with regard to anyone else.

It all just gets seamier and seamier..

Less and less respectful, and respected.

So sorry, no sticker on the 'Good Boy' chart for Mr Parish from me..

He did the very bare minimum, after four or five days of prevarication.

Only when there was absolutely no possibility of worming his way out, did he resign..

Could do a darn sight better, the lot of them..

If they are Conservative yes, if they are Labour no you mean?
You do see a sort of irony in your posts "trying" to defend the Conservatives under Johnson don't you ?
I mean I think the porn drama is bad,but it's over with he's gone.In the bigger picture of the lies and corruption it's minor.Another good deflection story.
So what's your thinking Rayner was somewhere we thought she wasn't so should go ? I don't really care if she does, but you can't seriously believe Johnsons fit to be PM can you ? You can't be that dense.

I dunno mudders.
I'd sooner all Tory MPs spent their Parliamentary time watching porn rather than legislating.
I know what you're saying...
But couldn't they just stay home and watch it*..??

Leave the grown ups in charge of the politicking.

(*I mean the 'ethical' stuff of course)

I'm sure Sues farmhouse is large enough for Neil to have his own romper room.

He could have all his spunky gang over, for jolly japes, and she could make them nice tea and sarnies for when they'd wrung themselves dry over the
'Takes Two to Tango' spesh fillums.. ??

Oh Sue...

Some folks hereabouts have even joked about me looking at 'Tractor porn' ..

Thing is I am actually looking at

Tractors.. 🚜🚜🚜🚜

Oh alright the occasional cultivating implement too -
- If I'm honest..

I even go on 'tractor forums' sometimes..

However, never in all my born days, whilst doing this have I suddenly ended up 'accidently' looking at frisky folks engaged in goings on in the bedchamber..

Or wherever..

... it's all highly mysterious 🤔

The issue is that Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner have spent months going about how people should be honest and open about who was at which event, and the PM must be a thicky if he can't even remember whether he was at a party and if others can't remember him being there they must be lying.
As a result they should resign blah blah blah.

Now it turns out that she couldn't remember being in the same room as Keir Starmer eating sandwiches and drinking after sharing a flipping desk to do a zoom call together, where she introduced then got up and he sat down. All of which is apparently an honest mistake and the fact they both have been on tv denying it took place is just an oversight, and they really didn't remember.

No, they lied too. If they get a fine will do what they have been saying any politician should do in these circumstances and resign? No of course they won't, they will say it was unclear, they didn't break the rules as they saw them and round we all go again.

They are all at it, one lot will be no better than the other. It's a sad fact of life I am afraid.

Has it not been investigated allready...if it wasn't against the rules Starmer being there, will it make a difference if Rayner was ? I'm not sure it broke any covid rules?
Like I say your really clutching at straws here Craig.Boozy party's and the unforgivable Abba party during lockdown?

Leave the grown ups in charge of the politicking.
Unfortunately they were elected in our democratic system , so unless you want to dispense with that and have a non elected body govern… I mean, who exactly are the”grown ups” of which you speak?
