Oh lots and lots

after all - we voted for Brexit based on what Nigel and Boris told us in spite of a lot of it being total BS

there maybe benefits to Brexit - but those were not what "The People" were voting about

not having tax havens for millionaires compromised by forthcoming EU rules for example

Shouldn't that be "some of us"?

Well yes - but we operate as a single unit as a country- we just vote for things as individuals and then have to put up with whatever the result is

democracy is a right bugger

'exporters of foods of animal origin have had to pay the sums to secure sign-offs by vets before they can send their shipments.
In the past 12 months alone, exporters have paid more than £58m. The extra costs have resulted in a sharp fall in exports'
'Peter Hardwick, the trade policy adviser at the British Meat Processors Association, said the extra costs had been “catastrophic” for some smaller companies.'

No sh-it, Sherlock.

But surely they not have much wider markets they can sell to due to the extensive and wonderful trade deals that we now have with a wide range of other countries

I remember this being said and how easy it would be to make them.

On national news (BBC) this evening, an item on EU Farmers protests. One Farmer interviewed complained that Farmers outside the EU had an unfair advantage, since they did not have to conform to EU standards, and, so, had a competitive advantage over farmers within the EU.

Who believe?

I suspect the reality is a bit more complicated. Farmers outside the EU don't have to work to EU rules, but then they are subject to import checks, and sometimes their produce won't be allowed in at all, like some chemicals/drugs used in the USA, or the shellfish from the UK that can't now be imported unless it's been washed.

I very much suspect you are correct, but, the "victims" only highlight those things which are to their disadvantage.

We are at the "we should rejoin the EU because the UK is scared of freedom" stage.
