I've told you above what I think, who was to know a pandemic was about to break and Boris would do what he did?

It's like saying Blair was worth it but he went to War!
You'll get no support for Blair from me...
You didn't have a inkling what sort of person he was ? As in lies, self entitlement, racist, all round buffoon or did you actually believe his spin ?

Even into the mid noughties we would have people so drunk after lunch that the management would have to unplug their telephones so they couldn’t speak to clients.
I’m glad it’s not like that anymore.

Indeed. I wasn't condoning it, simply saying that it was, once, widespread, for better or worse.

More money for the NHS.

Keep immigration under control and stricter rules for getting in the country.

Don't mind paying a bit more tax to help fund it.

Sort trade deals out.

Up the minimum wage a bit.

That'll do for starters, incidentally I think they're all lying bastards whichever party they represent.

Apart from giving lip-service to the immigration bit (and at the same time opening the gates to immigrants from non-EU countries), none of those things are Tory policies. Their record on post-Brexit trade deals thus far has been hilariously lamentable, and damaging to British business & industry.

Increased funding for the NHS, minimum wage increase and raising taxes are fundamentally socialist policies and very much the opposite of what Tory governments deliver. What was it you don't like about Labour again?

He's not waiting until the summer. He's spending more time in his fridge with his family for the next week after one of them contracted covid and for some reason the guidance telling us we can go to work as long as we test negative daily doesn't apply to Boris. (It says "work from home if you are able to" but Parliament no longer allows participation by video-call, so he's not able to.)
Very convenient, this "family member" testing positive, which gets him a bit of breathing space from awkward press questions. As convenient as Djokovic having contracted Covid on December 16th to help him get into Australia...........and about as likely.

Every mention of the Sue Gray report is designed to pile the pressure and focus on her.

It stinks and I may have reservations about its findings.

I also don't expect it to be published in full.

That's a fecking ridiculous statement..I guess we all get carried away, all the same absolute bollox.
Id take a look at Johnsons past and tell me who actually thought he would be a competent leader...If so I'd suggest giving your head a wobble

I ask the tory voters I know if they actually thought he'd magically acquire competence and ethics once he was voted in , their usual response is some lie about Corbyn ...
