Why is it that, with a few exceptions, those encouraging cycling, particularly utility cycling, tend to align with leftish} political views?

My theory........
Some people relish the strife between Labour and Capital, and see life as one huge struggle. It's natural that they are drawn to masochistic pursuits in their free time, hence cycling.

Several women finished the hilly Mad March 200 today, and even claimed to have enjoyed it. It was beautifully sunny and the views on top of Exmoor were exceptional.
