Nah...it must have been early notification of Williamson's resignation.
Dont see why that necessitates leaping off stage like that ??

Doesn't Gav the spiv get fired / have to resign fairly regularly?
It's not exactly 'life or death??

Unless it's really urgent matter of state that needs an immediate response, its pretty disrespectful all in.
Sure all the other leaders attending have internal party shenanigans going on as well, but then again, maybe they have deputies whom they can trust to hold the fort ? 🤔

Gavin Williamson has just resigned.

Pretentious, moi?

Interesting article.

So, the whole world. was wrong, the markets were wrong. The UK Government wasn't giving unfunded tax breaks, no need for the markets to go into meltdown, no need for the Pensions bail out... etc etc

Who would have thought it.

Bring back Liz Truss ;)

"That fiscal target is not dictated by economic necessity. It’s a political choice that Jeremy Hunt will make. The Office for Budget Responsibility doesn’t set the fiscal targets. It takes them as an assumption upon which to base its calculations."
